Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA): Presidential Declarations and the Public Assistance Program - A representative of the IEMA will discuss the process for obtaining Presidential disaster declarations and how the Public Assistance Program can help local units of government recover from disasters.
Climate Change: Issues for Local Governments Going Green - There is a tremendous amount of discussion now going on from Congress to local government about climate change and the need to "go green." This session will explore some of the issues for local government, including green buildings, converting to green fleets, new building codes, and what to expect from a carbon-regulated future.
Illinois Funds and E-Pay Update - The Illinois Funds and E-Pay program have some interesting ways for your entity to take advantage of interest rates, investments and, if you accept or are thinking of accepting credit card payments, we can work with you to build a payments program with virtually no costs to you.
