Hi -
In reviewing this article about pre-populating fields, it appears that there needs to be a "name" attribute in the <input>. However, when examining the HTML source code for the input for Coupon code (in a Stripe payment method) there is no name parameter.
Is it possible to pass a Coupon code via a URL?
Thanks,
Ira

Hello Ira,
I am not sure what you are trying to achieve as coupon codes should not be visible in your form for everyone. But, it is currently not possible to pre-populate the coupon text fields of your payment question. Unfortunately, the text box for coupon code only have ID attribute but does not have any name attribute.
Let me send a feature request to our back end team. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.
Thank you!

Ashwin,
For clarity: I want to send out emails that contain a CUSTOM generated URL for each recipient. The difference will be a URL parameter which I would like to be the Coupon code. This will make it so they won't have to enter the code but will get the correct discount. I don't believe this should expose the actual coupon codes in the form.
Yes, please submit a feature request to enable passing the coupon code via URL.
Thank you,
Ira

Hello Ira,
Here's a recommendation: Why not create a duplicate copy of the form with different price values in it instead? This way your customers won't have an idea about a form having a different pricing based on coupons since there won't be any and they won't be seeing be any fields that would give them idea about coupons.
Anyhow, a ticket has been assigned to a developer and we'll let you know as soon as we have updates on this matter.
Thanks.

Hi Ilyam -
Good idea in general. However, some of the codes are more "vouchers" with a single use. If I create a form with the discount (or making the event complimentary) there is no limiting use by the entitled person.
Thanks for passing this along to the developers.
Thanks,
Ira
