Matrix Dynamique Excel Output

Question, once I collect the data in a Matrix Dynamique field how do I export this so I can merge the date into name tags.

Want I want to do is have a registration form for a company where they can enter the names they need badges for.  I will then export this data and do a merge with MS Word to make the name badges.

    Does this make sense?

    Questions?

You can export from data to excel format from the submission page:

Correct but the the multiple names are all in one field in one row. To do a merge with Word the data needs to be have first name in one column, last name in one column and then next name in the next row.
Does this help explain what we are looking to do?

When exporting data using excel document the system each element/field in the form is added in its own column. You may need to customize the excel document to give the output required to export in MS word.

Hope the above solution will resolve the issues you have.

For the setup you are looking for, it would require using individual text boxes, one for each name, and a single submission per name.  This way, each name would be captured in its own column/row.  Submission data is exported as all data collected in a field in a single cell and all data from a single submission in a single row.
