Not recognizing Word doc format

When a docx format is attached...it doesn't not seem to recognize the format. You have to save it and then select Word as the program to open. This occurs on multiple devices across several formats.

Is there a setting we need to change? Can you reply to kevinwburke@gmail.com

Hello Kevin,

When you say that it does not seem to recognize the format, can you provide us more information on this? Such as are you expecting that the file will open on the browser similar to how images and PDF files usually work on Chrome browser?

As I have tried to upload a docx file, it also prompts to download on my end before I can open it using Word. However, if I'm missing something please do explain to us your concern.
